What’s Under the Hood: Power and Geometry
Let’s talk specs, but keep it real. The lamp runs on 400V, which lets us pack a lot of power into a small space, while keeping the current within safe, predictable limits for industrial wiring. It’s rated at 2500W, and that wattage gives you the heat density needed to get powder up to cure temperature quickly. No more bottlenecks slowing down your line. The tube itself is 300mm long—a length we chose specifically to match the curing zones on most automated finishing lines. You get a tight, uniform heating footprint, so you’re not wasting energy heating air outside the target area. And it fits easily into existing oven or tunnel setups.
The Materials and Design Choices That Matter
Inside, a halogen capsule cranks out intense shortwave infrared. The quartz envelope? It’s tough enough to handle the thermal shock of rapid on/off cycles, day in and day out. We also added a reflective coating to push more energy forward, straight onto the powder surface. That means better efficiency and more consistent results. Then there’s the R7s connector.
