Introduction
So, here’s what we do: we build industrial infrared heating systems. The heart of what we make? Our infrared quartz lamps and circular halogen infrared heat tubes. They’re built for one thing: delivering intense, focused heat, fast. And in a tight space. You wire them straight onto your machines for direct heating, and they’re tough enough to handle the constant on-off, heating-up-and-cooling-down of a busy production line.
Getting into the Details
Let’s talk power. Our infrared quartz lamp and circular halogen tube are serious industrial workhorses. A standard setup runs on 400V, cranking out 2500W of heat from a tube that’s just 300mm long. That’s a lot of heat packed into a small space. It means you can blast energy right where you need it, without turning the whole machine bay into a sauna. The science behind it is pretty simple. Higher voltage means more wattage for the same amount of current. That keeps the wiring manageable and cuts down on energy loss. And that 300mm length? It’s a standard size. So when a lamp burns out, you just pop in a new one. No need to redesign the whole thing.
The Stuff It’s Made Of
The quartz envelope isn’t just any old glass. It’s built to take the shock of going from freezing to searing and back again, over and over. Inside, the halogen element keeps resistance stable, so the output stays consistent over time. We also add a reflective coating to the quartz. It pushes more of the heat forward, right onto your workpiece, so you get more usable energy and less wasted heat radiating to the sides. For the connections, we stick with what works. The R7s connector is the go-to for linear tubes—it gives you a solid, reliable connection that holds tight. For the circular halogen tubes, we use the Sk15 connector, which is a perfect fit for that shape and wiring. Both are chosen to prevent hot spots and make replacement a breeze.
Where It Shines
These lamps are made for jobs that need quick, pinpointed heat. Think PET blowing, plastic thermoforming, or curing adhesives. The fast response time helps you cut down on cycle time, and that focused beam makes managing the heat a lot simpler. Now, let’s be real. A 2500W, 400V tube packs a punch. So your machine’s cooling and shielding need to be up to the task. But get that right, and you’re rewarded with reliable performance, easier maintenance, and a system that just keeps running. We design these lamps to be a simple swap, so your line never has to stop.
