We built this 920mm, 1200W halogen lamp to be the direct, no-nonsense replacement for industrial heating jobs. It’s for the spots where you need serious heat, fast, but you’re tight on space. The power behind the punch
We didn’t just pick 1200W because it sounded impressive. It’s about packing a serious amount of heat into a small package. This wattage is what lets you bring a target component up to temperature quickly, without needing to overhaul your whole system. And the 920mm length? That gives you a nice, long heating zone. It’s perfect for processes like PET bottle blowing or plastic welding, where you need that heat to be perfectly even from one end to the other. Of course, you can’t just plug it in anywhere. Voltage has to match. When it does, the lamp hits its full power and temperature. Get it wrong, and you’re looking at a weak performance and a short lifespan.
What’s inside that makes it work
This isn’t your average lamp. The body is made of quartz, not regular glass. That’s because quartz can handle the insane heat and the shock of turning on and off again and again. Inside, the halogen cycle is doing the heavy lifting. It takes the material that evaporates off the filament and puts it back. This keeps the light output steady and gives the lamp a much longer life than a standard bulb. Then there’s the R7s base. It’s the standard for this size, and for good reason. It gives you a solid, two-contact connection that can handle the high current without creating hot spots. Slide it in, lock it down. Simple.
Real-world use, and the one thing to watch
This lamp is a straight-up, drop-in replacement for older halogen systems. You get that rapid heat-up, control that feels precise, and a clean, consistent heat profile. But here’s the thing to keep in mind: 1200W is a lot of power in a small space. This lamp runs hot. That means your machine’s cooling system has to be up to the task.
