If you’re dealing with heavy-duty thermal loads, you need something that doesn’t just “warm things up,” but actually hits the target hard and fast. That’s where these 625mm tubes come in. At 400V and 2000W, they’re built for the gritty work—industrial drying, curing, and shaping plastics. The deal with the power Here’s the thing about that 400V rating. It’s not random. We use it because industrial grids need a way to push 2000W of power without melting your wiring through excessive current draw. It gives you a massive heat flux across the whole 625mm length. Your materials get hot, and they get hot now. Just a heads-up: make sure your power supply is actually spec’d for 400V. If it isn’t, the lamp will either barely glow or just pop the second you flip the switch. Why quartz and halogen? We wrap the tungsten filament in high-purity quartz. A few warnings before you install When you’re wiring these up, double-check your sockets. They need to handle some serious heat. If your cooling fans are acting up, fix them first, otherwise your housing might start to warp. And here is the most important part:Use gloves. These lamps are incredibly fragile. If you touch the quartz with your bare hands, the oil from your skin leaves a mark. Once the lamp heats up, that little smudge creates a “hot spot” that can crack the glass instantly. Not a great way to start a shift.
