It’s all about that heat-per-millimeter ratio. You get the temperature you need without wasting energy heating up the air around the part. The Power Side of Things Since they run on 220V, they should slide right into most industrial setups without any drama. We pushed the wattage to 1500W so the filament gets screaming hot the moment you flip the switch. The ramp-up is incredibly fast. But here’s the thing: that power comes at a cost. If you’re installing a bank of ten lamps, you’re looking at a 15kW load. Please, double-check your wiring and breakers. You don’t want to deal with voltage drops or a burnt-out circuit halfway through a shift. Why Quartz and Halogen? Inside the tube, we’ve got a tungsten filament and a specific halogen gas mix.
