Now, a higher voltage rating is your friend here—it lets us make a longer tube without losing that intensity. But a word of caution. If you push the wattage to the absolute limit, you’re putting a lot of stress on the quartz. And please,keep your reflectors clean. If they’re dusty, the heat bounces right back into the tube. That’s a fast track to a burnout. The Build: Quartz and Coatings We use high-purity quartz because these lamps get cycled on and off constantly. They need to handle that thermal shock without cracking. Depending on your fabric, we can add specific coatings to the glass. This shifts the heat so it actually sinks deep into the fibers instead of just warming up the air around the material. As for the fit? We use standard industrial connectors. They’re designed to be drop-in replacements for the big-name brands. Just double-check your pin configuration before you plug them in—nobody likes a wiring mistake on a Monday morning. The Trade-offs You Should Know These lamps pack a punch. That speed is great for your output, but it does put a strain on your power supply and cooling fans. If your cabinet cooling isn’t up to the task, the ends of your lamps are going to fry much faster. It’s a simple trade-off: more heat means you need more airflow.
